Dr. Praveen K. Thallapally is a Sr. Research Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Richland, WA. He has conducted scientific investigations in several research areas including carbon dioxide separation, volatile radio-active Xenon and Krypton separation, catalysis, using porous metal-organic frameworks and organic frameworks. Dr. Thallapally has developed a large number of novel materials for energy applications, which was recognized through PNNL’s “Ronald L. Brodzinski” award for early career exceptional achievement. For the past 15 years, Dr. Thallapally has published more than >100 international peer reviewed publications (4 reviews, 3 book chapters) on synthesis, characterization and applications of porous organic and metal organic frameworks with close to ~4000 citations and >10 journal covers with an H-index of 37. He was recently appointed as Topic Editor for Crystal Growth & Design and Advisory Board member for CrystEngComm, Guest Editor for Catalysis Today and community Board of Editor for Cryst. Grow & Des.
